Chubster Runoff searches for Tony Bourdain
Yall may have read on CRO that Tony Bourdain was ‘coming 2 Boston’ so my friend breakfastoriented and I went ‘searching 4 him.’
We searched ‘all over Boston’ and could not find him ‘anywhere,’ though he is supposed 2 be in the city ‘for another week.’ Sounds like CRO has time to ‘track down’ Tony.
Tony also ‘surprised the internet’ by conducting a ‘livestream’ (authentic CRO screenshot above) on popular social networking site Faceybook. This was different from his television show because he could ‘use curse words’ and ‘offend people’ more than usual.
Tony had some advice for food blogs, saying they should ‘try to be entertaining,’ ‘non-didactic,’ and 2 ‘have a sense of humor.’ It ‘helps if u actually like food.’ Think I will keep these in mind.
Really hope I can see u in Boston, Tony…

Berryline Closed For Holidays
Tonight some of my altest friends and I attempted to go 2 Berryline, a local series of frozen yogurt places
For yall that don’t know, frozen yogurt is a tart, sweet creamy treat that is supposedly ‘better for you’ than ‘conventional ice cream’
We showed up at Berryline but we found out it was ‘effing closed for holiday break.’ Felt really sad. Really have been missin u, Berryline.
So we decided to go 2 JP Licks instead, which is known in the Boston area as being a ‘great place’ for ice cream. JP Licks is named for its home of Jamaica Plain, one of the ‘most indie areas in Boston.’ Think I ‘prefer the sweetness’ of froyo, but the creaminess of the ice cream is probably better for gaining the chubs
As yall know, ice cream joints are some of the greatest places to find alt music and this one was playing some !!!, a dance-punk buzzband who are ‘not as good’ as LCD Soundsystem. Also heard some Black Sabbath, who were probably played ‘by the staff’ to let ppl know that they ‘are knowledgable’ of ‘vintage’ alt bands as well.
Do yall prefer ice cream or froyo?
